Red Satin Suit

Jacket: Leith // Pants: Leith // Bag: Celine // Heels(similar): Sam Edelman

Hello my lovely readers! Today I wanted to share this Red Satin Suit with you guys. This was really out of my fashion comfort zone but once I tried it on I was in love! It’s so perfect for those upcoming holiday parties you’ll be attending. Did I mention it’s on sale making the set under 80!? #score

Now onto my bag, how many of you love high end designer bags but not the price tag? I know that’s how I feel! Trendlee is a website that sells gently used designer handbags for a fraction of the price. They carry brands like Chanel, Gucci, Hermès, Chloe and Celine. The bag I’m carrying in these photos is a Celine Phantom from Trendlee, isn’t it so chic!?

Blue Velvet Wrap Dress

Dress: Tularosa // Boots: Steve Madden // Necklace: David Yurman // Ring: David Yurman // Bag: Rebecca Minkoff

Hello and happy Sunday! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend! I can’t believe Thanksgiving is this week already, which means Christmas is quickly approahing. That being said, I thought I’d get started on sharing some holiday dressing inspiration!

My go-to this season for holiday parties is velvet dresses. There’s something about them that always looks so chic and sophisticated, while still being festive. I ordered this Tularosa dress from Nordstrom and I am in love! The velevet feels super expensive but the dress is under 160. I’m usually not a navy gal but this color is even more beautiful and rich in person than online! I paired the dress with my black Steve Madden over the knee boots and my velvet Rebecca Minkoff bag. Because you can never have too much velvet, right!?

Hello friends, I hope you’re all having a great week so far! Today I wanted to talk about the easiest way to elevate any fall/winter outfit, a Camel Colored Peacoat. There’s something about it that adds such a layer of chic to any outfit. The one I’m wearing is from J.Crew and while it was definitely an investment piece, it’s a classic piece I know I’ll wear all fall/winter for years to come. Not to mention it is seriously SO warm! I wore it to the city on Sunday and I have to say it’s a lot warmer than it looks! This Free People Scarf is also the warmest scarf I own and comes in so many colors.

Skin Care Routine

Pajamas: Nordstrom // Chair: Pier 1

Happy Friday my fabulous blog readers!! After many requests, my skin care routine is here for y’all! I’m so excited to share my my skin secrets with you all, so let’s get stared!
First off, a little bit about my skin type. I obviously have a very fair complexion, which means for me that my skin is super sensitive. My skin is also an oily/combination type, so I don’t use any heavy thick product. I am by no means a skin expert or dermatologist, but I want to share what works for me, and hope that maybe it’ll work for you too!

My number one thing: wash your face twice a day everyday!
I know sometimes by the end of the day, I don’t feel like washing my face because I’m too tired and just want to pass out. But it is SO important for me to make sure I wash my face in the morning AND at night. Even if I don’t wear makeup one day, it’s important to get the dirt and oil from the day off of my face at night.
My skin is very prone to break outs, so I make sure to use a cleanser with Salic Acid. I’ve been using this Acne Facial Cleanser by Mario Badescu for years and years and it works like a charm. I’ve thought about switching it up, but if it ain’t broke don’t fix it, amiright?
Along with this cleanser, I’ll use this Biore Pore Unclogging Scrub once or twice a week. I find that this exfoliater really minimizes black heads and pores.

Moisturizer
Along with cleansing my face twice a day everyday, I also moisturize as frequent as that. Since I do have oily skin I use a very light moisturizer, this gel by Clinique. It’s very light but still keeps my skin soft.

Breakouts
Ahh break outs! For monthly flare ups, I use this drying lotion by Mario Badescu. At the first sight of a pimple, I’ll put this amazing stuff on at night. By the next morning it’s either smaller or completely gone! This stuff is seriously that good.

What are some of your skin tips and tricks? Let me know in the comments! Xx

Hearts Are Wild Dress

Dress: Free People // Boots(on sale!!): Vince Camuto // Bag: Chloe

Hellooo friends! I hope you’re all having a great week! I just HAD to share this little Free People number with y’all. I wasn’t sure how I felt about it when I first put it on but the longer I had it on the more I loved it!! Not only is it super light and airy(perfect for this Indian summer we’re having in NJ) the colors in it are so perfect for fall! This dress does run big, I got my normal XS and it is still very roomy in the shoulder/arm area. I paired this dress with these Vince Camuto OTK boots(on sale!!). You could also pair it with a pair of heels for a dressier look. I’ll be wearing this with a denim or suede jacket once the weather finally gets cooler(which I hope is soon!).
