Denim Overalls

Overalls: Madewell // Sweatshirt: Free People // Booties: Free People

Hey friends! Hope you all had a great weekend! It’s still in the 80s here in New Jersey but I could not wait to break out these overalls from Madewell! I am LOVING the overalls trend right now! It took me a few trial and errors of trying on overalls before I found these. A lot of the other overalls were either way too long or just fit funky in certain places, but these seriously fit like a glove! They have a bit of stretch to them which is also makes them super comfy.

Speaking of comfy… this sweatshirt from Free People feels like wearing a cloud! Yes it’s that comfy. I throw it on probably once a week! It’s such a good piece to have for days when you want to be cozy but still look cute.

I got these Free People booties for fashion week, still going strong with that suede trend! They go with pretty much everything, and I lasted walking in them for ten hours in NYC, so I’d say they’re pretty comfortable.

Are you guys loving the overalls trend? Let me know in the comments! Xx

Statement Sleeves

Sweater: Free People // Jeans: Levi’s // Bag: Chloe // Boots: Free People // Sunglasses: Prada

Happy Wednesday friends, half way to the weekend! I am still recouping from the hectic weekend that was NYFW. If you didn’t catch that blog post be sure to check it out! Today I wanted to share this statement sleeve sweater by Free People. I love how it has a very “Victorian” look to it and it is super lightweight which is perfect for the early fall temperatures. These are my first pair of Levi jeans and I am in love! They have a very vintage look to them along with some distressing. If you don’t own a pair of Levi’s, it’s good to know that they are 100% denim so you’ll spend your first day waddling around in them! But with a few wears they will mold to your shape. As for this bag, guys. This is my dream. bag. I have wanted a Chloe bag for probably 4 years now and I finally bit the bullet and purchased one! It is a very pricey purchase but it will become such a staple in my wardrobe to have this structured bag.
What are some fall staples you guys are loving? Let me know in the comments!

NYFW

Dress:Free People // Shirt:Free People // Bag:Chloe // Shoes:Free People

Hello and happy Sunday friends! I am SO excited to share today’s blog post with you about my first ever New York Fashion Week, along with some tips on what to wear to fashion week.
I was fortune enough to be invited to the Nolcha show. Nolcha is an independent designer show. The designer featured in the show I attended was W.Reflex, his collection was amazing! All of the pieces were very vibrant, youthful and trendy.
Here are some tips on what to wear to NYFW:

1. Think fall, but dress for summer

Being that NYFW is in early September, you’ll want to wear lighter pieces with a fall touch to them. For example: a dress with a jacket “blogger  draped” around your shoulders.

2. Shoes: COMFORT!

I can not emphasize this enough! You’ll be doing a TON of walking. If you want to wear heels, I highly suggest bringing a pair of flats/walking shoes. Flat booties/boots, or trendy sneakers are a great way to go also.

3. Be bold!

Fashion Week is the time to be bold, so wear that trend that you’ve been too afraid to try! The street fashion is probably one of the most amazing parts of fashion week, so take a fashion risk or get outside your comfort zone!
I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to attend NYFW, and I can’t wait to take what I learned to NYFW in February!

This outfit is head to toe from the Nordstrom Anniversary sale AND it’s all still in stock! This top is still on sale and only $20! You can shop it here. Now on to this amazing suede skirt, I own this skirt now in two colors! Suede is going to be huge for fall, and I love how versatile this skirt is! Blushing Paisley

Dress: Show Me Your Mumu // Wedges: Marc Fisher // Sunglasses: Ray Ban

Hello and happy Monday!! I hope you all had a great weekend! Today I’m talking about my go to color for transitioning from summer to fall: pink.  I haven’t been the biggest fan of the color pink, but lately I’ve been loving it for the late summer/early fall! The baby pink trend looks great paired with a light wash denim jacket for fall and some cognac suede shoes. This fall print by Show Me Your Mumu is my absolute favorite! I love the pops of blue, and this dress can actually be worn as a maxi skirt as well, two outfits in one! I’ll take that as an excuse to buy it amiright?

What are some of your favorite ways to transition your dresses from summer to fall? Let me know in the comments!

Blue Life

Romper(on sale!!!)Shop Blue Life // Necklace: Kendra Scott // Ring: David Yurman

Helloooo my people, I hope you’re all having a fab week! I spent the last few days in Stone Harbor with Kyle for some desperately needed R&R. While we were there I had to stop by my favorite little boutique, Maison’s. I saw this mermaid-y Blue Life romper in the window and thought it was right up my alley. I had always seen Blue Life online and thought it was such a cute summery brand! I love anything really flow-y and boho(hence my Free People Addiction) so this brand is definitely a new favorite!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!xx

Friday Five

Hello friends, and happy Friday!! Today’s post is a little diffrent than what I normally do. I wanted to start sharing my favorite products of the moment with you guys! Those products could be make up, shoes, accessories etc. I’m excited to share my first Friday Five with you guys, and I hope you’re excited too!!

Brixton Cap

First up I have this adorable fisherman hat by Brixton(also I swear my dog doesn’t hate me haha!). I got this suede cap during Norstrom’s Anniversary Sale and I’m so in love! I’m wearing it in black but it also comes in a gorgeous green color that I may also have to get! When I saw these hats were becoming a big trend, I wasn’t sure how I felt about it(very Mary-Kate and Ashley circa 2000) but once I tried it on I was immediately obsessed! I wasn’t sure how to style it at first, but once I brought it home and played around with it with different outfits I realized it pretty much goes with everything. So keep your eyes peeled for this cap in some up coming posts!

Tarte Lip Paint

Next up I have this matte lip paint by Tarte Cosmetics. I had been looking for a matte berry color and heard such good things about this Tarte lip paint. The color is amazing, however it is a bit drying. Most matte lip stains are though unfortunately. I got this lip paint in the shade called bling and will be wearing it this coming fall a ton!

MAC Highlighter

What girl doesn’t love a good highlighter, amiright? I picked up this MAC highlighter in the color “soft and gentle”. This highlighter is perfect if you’re looking for something subtle that still gives you a nice glow. Highlighter can look really over done sometimes but this one is very natural looking which is perfect for my fair skin.

Stuart Weitzman booties

Now onto these gorgeous Stuart Weitzman booties! I have wanted SW booties for years now and during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale this year I finally bit the bullet and got them. These booties were worth every penny! The suede is incredibly soft and the pointy toe and block heel are to die for. I’ll be wearing these black booties with just about everything this fall!

Soap and Glory mascara

I used to get eyelash extensions and I LOVED them, but I stopped getting them a few months ago to give my eyelashes a break. I had been on the hunt for a good mascara and this one totally gives you that false lashes effect without getting too clumpy.

What did you guys think of the post? Let me know in the comments if you want to hear more Friday Five from me! Thanks for stopping by!

Blue Paisley Dress

Dress: Show Me Your Mumu // Mules: Chinese Laundry
Hello friends, happy Monday! I wanted to share this adorable paisley dress I was lucky enough to receive from Show Me Your Mumu! I have been entering their #mumumondaygiveaway for the longest time and a few weeks ago, I finally won! I’ve never been a huge paisley fan but I love the particular paisley print on this dress and the low open back. I paired this dress with some simple mules, for a more casual vibe I would rock my converses with this dress. I have everything linked here, OR you can shop this look on my Like to Know It page here https://www.liketoknow.it/bridget_bee_

Off the Shoulder top and Boyfriend Jeans

Top: Free People // Jeans: Topshop // Flats: Chloe (Dupe

Hello friends, happy Friday!! Although today feels more like Monday for me, I’ll be returning to work after a relaxing vacation with Kyle, *sigh*. I’ve had my eye on this dreamy off the shoulder Free People top for a while now, so I finally bit the bullet and bought it. Let me tell you, this top is amazing! It’s so lightweight and versatile! Even though it’s long sleeves, I’ve been wearing it with denim high waisted shorts or skirts for summer. It also looks adorable pair with high waisted skinny jeans, or boyfriend jeans as pictured here. I know it’s only July(I’m kind of obsessed with fall) this will be a great transitional outfit for late summer, early fall!

And can we talk about these SHOES for a minute!?! Kyle got me these Chloe suede flats as a gift last month and I am so obsessed with them! I normally stay away from flats because they typically hurt my feet(I used to be a dancer, always have to have shoes with an arch) but these are the most comfortable flats I’ve ever had! These shoes are a bit of a splurge, so I’ll link a similar pair for less.
