Denim Overalls

Overalls: Madewell // Sweatshirt: Free People // Booties: Free People

Hey friends! Hope you all had a great weekend! It’s still in the 80s here in New Jersey but I could not wait to break out these overalls from Madewell! I am LOVING the overalls trend right now! It took me a few trial and errors of trying on overalls before I found these. A lot of the other overalls were either way too long or just fit funky in certain places, but these seriously fit like a glove! They have a bit of stretch to them which is also makes them super comfy.

Speaking of comfy… this sweatshirt from Free People feels like wearing a cloud! Yes it’s that comfy. I throw it on probably once a week! It’s such a good piece to have for days when you want to be cozy but still look cute.

I got these Free People booties for fashion week, still going strong with that suede trend! They go with pretty much everything, and I lasted walking in them for ten hours in NYC, so I’d say they’re pretty comfortable.

Are you guys loving the overalls trend? Let me know in the comments! Xx

Statement Sleeves

Sweater: Free People // Jeans: Levi’s // Bag: Chloe // Boots: Free People // Sunglasses: Prada

Happy Wednesday friends, half way to the weekend! I am still recouping from the hectic weekend that was NYFW. If you didn’t catch that blog post be sure to check it out! Today I wanted to share this statement sleeve sweater by Free People. I love how it has a very “Victorian” look to it and it is super lightweight which is perfect for the early fall temperatures. These are my first pair of Levi jeans and I am in love! They have a very vintage look to them along with some distressing. If you don’t own a pair of Levi’s, it’s good to know that they are 100% denim so you’ll spend your first day waddling around in them! But with a few wears they will mold to your shape. As for this bag, guys. This is my dream. bag. I have wanted a Chloe bag for probably 4 years now and I finally bit the bullet and purchased one! It is a very pricey purchase but it will become such a staple in my wardrobe to have this structured bag.
What are some fall staples you guys are loving? Let me know in the comments!

Dress:Free People // Shirt:Free People // Bag:Chloe // Shoes:Free People

Hello and happy Sunday friends! I am SO excited to share today’s blog post with you about my first ever New York Fashion Week, along with some tips on what to wear to fashion week.
I was fortune enough to be invited to the Nolcha show. Nolcha is an independent designer show. The designer featured in the show I attended was W.Reflex, his collection was amazing! All of the pieces were very vibrant, youthful and trendy.
Here are some tips on what to wear to NYFW:

1. Think fall, but dress for summer

Being that NYFW is in early September, you’ll want to wear lighter pieces with a fall touch to them. For example: a dress with a jacket “blogger  draped” around your shoulders.

2. Shoes: COMFORT!

I can not emphasize this enough! You’ll be doing a TON of walking. If you want to wear heels, I highly suggest bringing a pair of flats/walking shoes. Flat booties/boots, or trendy sneakers are a great way to go also.

3. Be bold!

Fashion Week is the time to be bold, so wear that trend that you’ve been too afraid to try! The street fashion is probably one of the most amazing parts of fashion week, so take a fashion risk or get outside your comfort zone!
I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to attend NYFW, and I can’t wait to take what I learned to NYFW in February!
