Jacket: Blank NYC // Skirt: J.Crew // Turtleneck: Halogen // Boots: Steve Madden (under 100!)

Happy Wednesday my lovely readers! Can you believe Thanksgiving is just about two weeks away?! I wanted to share this Thanksgiving outfit for you last minute shoppers out there. Houndstooth is by far one of my favorite prints so when I saw this one from J.Crew I knew I had to have it. The ruffle bottom is so flirty and feminine and can easily go with any fitted shirt/sweater. I’ve had my eye on this Blank NYC jacket for a while and finally made the purchase, I don’t regret it one bit! It’s become such a staple in my closet that I’ll wear for years to come. My turtle neck is from Halogen and it’s seriously so soft!

Cheetah Print Booties

Sweater: Free People // Leggings: Nordstrom // Booties: Nordstrom // Hat: Brixton // Sunglasses: Ray Ban

Happy Friday! Two trends I can’t get enough of lately are leather leggings and cheetah print booties. Statement booties have been huge this fall and I love how they can bring a fun element to any outfit! These leggings are so comfy and they’re under $30, talk about a steal! I paired them with this burnt orange turtleneck by Free People, I clearly can’t get enough of this color this season! To give the outfit a cool vibe I threw on my Brixton fiddler hat, I’ve been wearing these hats non stop lately.

I have also jumped on the white bootie bandwagon and I am in love! They give serious 70s vibes which is right up my alley. I got these ones from Nordstrom for under 120, they also come in 6 other colors!

Skin Care Routine

Pajamas: Nordstrom // Chair: Pier 1

Happy Friday my fabulous blog readers!! After many requests, my skin care routine is here for y’all! I’m so excited to share my my skin secrets with you all, so let’s get stared!
First off, a little bit about my skin type. I obviously have a very fair complexion, which means for me that my skin is super sensitive. My skin is also an oily/combination type, so I don’t use any heavy thick product. I am by no means a skin expert or dermatologist, but I want to share what works for me, and hope that maybe it’ll work for you too!

My number one thing: wash your face twice a day everyday!
I know sometimes by the end of the day, I don’t feel like washing my face because I’m too tired and just want to pass out. But it is SO important for me to make sure I wash my face in the morning AND at night. Even if I don’t wear makeup one day, it’s important to get the dirt and oil from the day off of my face at night.
My skin is very prone to break outs, so I make sure to use a cleanser with Salic Acid. I’ve been using this Acne Facial Cleanser by Mario Badescu for years and years and it works like a charm. I’ve thought about switching it up, but if it ain’t broke don’t fix it, amiright?
Along with this cleanser, I’ll use this Biore Pore Unclogging Scrub once or twice a week. I find that this exfoliater really minimizes black heads and pores.

Along with cleansing my face twice a day everyday, I also moisturize as frequent as that. Since I do have oily skin I use a very light moisturizer, this gel by Clinique. It’s very light but still keeps my skin soft.

Ahh break outs! For monthly flare ups, I use this drying lotion by Mario Badescu. At the first sight of a pimple, I’ll put this amazing stuff on at night. By the next morning it’s either smaller or completely gone! This stuff is seriously that good.

Hearts Are Wild Dress

Dress: Free People // Boots(on sale!!): Vince Camuto // Bag: Chloe

Hellooo friends! I hope you’re all having a great week! I just HAD to share this little Free People number with y’all. I wasn’t sure how I felt about it when I first put it on but the longer I had it on the more I loved it!! Not only is it super light and airy(perfect for this Indian summer we’re having in NJ) the colors in it are so perfect for fall! This dress does run big, I got my normal XS and it is still very roomy in the shoulder/arm area. I paired this dress with these Vince Camuto OTK boots(on sale!!). You could also pair it with a pair of heels for a dressier look. I’ll be wearing this with a denim or suede jacket once the weather finally gets cooler(which I hope is soon!).

Black and Cognac

Top: Free People // Jeans: Free People // Hat: Urban Outfitters // Boots: Free People // Bag:Chloe

Hello my lovely readers!! Fall is by far my favorite season and my favorite fall activity is apple picking!(so basic, I know) Every year Kyle and I go to Eastmont Orchards where they have apples, pumpkins, squash, vegetables and a few other super cute farm stands. I wanted to wear something comfortable but cute, so I pulled out my new jeans from Free People. They’re definitely my new favorite jeans, but if you plan on purchasing them make sure to size up because they do run small. I paired the jeans with my beloved Free People thermal top. These tops are seriously so cozy and come in some great fall colors! I knew I was in the market for a new fall fedora, so I ordered this one from Urban Outfitters and the color is perfect!

Denim Overalls

Overalls: Madewell // Sweatshirt: Free People // Booties: Free People

Hey friends! Hope you all had a great weekend! It’s still in the 80s here in New Jersey but I could not wait to break out these overalls from Madewell! I am LOVING the overalls trend right now! It took me a few trial and errors of trying on overalls before I found these. A lot of the other overalls were either way too long or just fit funky in certain places, but these seriously fit like a glove! They have a bit of stretch to them which is also makes them super comfy.

Speaking of comfy… this sweatshirt from Free People feels like wearing a cloud! Yes it’s that comfy. I throw it on probably once a week! It’s such a good piece to have for days when you want to be cozy but still look cute.

I got these Free People booties for fashion week, still going strong with that suede trend! They go with pretty much everything, and I lasted walking in them for ten hours in NYC, so I’d say they’re pretty comfortable.

Are you guys loving the overalls trend? Let me know in the comments! Xx

Statement Sleeves

Sweater: Free People // Jeans: Levi’s // Bag: Chloe // Boots: Free People // Sunglasses: Prada

Happy Wednesday friends, half way to the weekend! I am still recouping from the hectic weekend that was NYFW. If you didn’t catch that blog post be sure to check it out! Today I wanted to share this statement sleeve sweater by Free People. I love how it has a very “Victorian” look to it and it is super lightweight which is perfect for the early fall temperatures. These are my first pair of Levi jeans and I am in love! They have a very vintage look to them along with some distressing. If you don’t own a pair of Levi’s, it’s good to know that they are 100% denim so you’ll spend your first day waddling around in them! But with a few wears they will mold to your shape. As for this bag, guys. This is my dream. bag. I have wanted a Chloe bag for probably 4 years now and I finally bit the bullet and purchased one! It is a very pricey purchase but it will become such a staple in my wardrobe to have this structured bag.
What are some fall staples you guys are loving? Let me know in the comments!

Dress:Free People // Shirt:Free People // Bag:Chloe // Shoes:Free People

Hello and happy Sunday friends! I am SO excited to share today’s blog post with you about my first ever New York Fashion Week, along with some tips on what to wear to fashion week.
I was fortune enough to be invited to the Nolcha show. Nolcha is an independent designer show. The designer featured in the show I attended was W.Reflex, his collection was amazing! All of the pieces were very vibrant, youthful and trendy.
Here are some tips on what to wear to NYFW:

1. Think fall, but dress for summer

Being that NYFW is in early September, you’ll want to wear lighter pieces with a fall touch to them. For example: a dress with a jacket “blogger  draped” around your shoulders.

2. Shoes: COMFORT!

I can not emphasize this enough! You’ll be doing a TON of walking. If you want to wear heels, I highly suggest bringing a pair of flats/walking shoes. Flat booties/boots, or trendy sneakers are a great way to go also.

3. Be bold!

Fashion Week is the time to be bold, so wear that trend that you’ve been too afraid to try! The street fashion is probably one of the most amazing parts of fashion week, so take a fashion risk or get outside your comfort zone!
I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to attend NYFW, and I can’t wait to take what I learned to NYFW in February!
