Denim on Denim

Shirt: J.Crew // Jeans: Good American // Glasses: Warby Parker // Mules: Free People

Hello and happy Monday loves!!

I hope you all had a great weekend! I know I did, because the Eagles won the Super Bowl! I’ll be honest I’m not that into football, but Kyle is a big eagles fan so if he’s happy, I’m happy haha.

Anywho, on to this outfit. I’ve always loved how other people pull off the denim on denim look but never knew if I could pull it off. Then I found this denim shirt from J.Crew and it’s seriously the perfect denim shirt! It looks stiff online/in pictures but it’s sooo soft and has that worn in feel which I love.

These jeans I bought last year from Good American and they fit like a glove. I don’t think I’ve ever found a denim brand that fit me better than Good American! These slides are from Free People and I am obsessed!! They’re so comfy and I love the white color for spring/summer. They also come in NINE different colors, so I’m thinking I need another pair!

How do you guys like to style denim on denim? Let me know in the comments, thanks for stopping by!

How to Style Overalls for Winter

Overalls: Madewell(old, similar here) // Cardigan: Madewell // Top: Madewell // Hat: Free People // Booties: Free People

Happy Sunday loves!

We had some warmer temperatures here in New Jersey this past weekend, finally! With the warmer weather I wanted to wear a light layered overalls look since you definitely didn’t need a puffy coat this weekend. Like many other things, the best way to style overalls for winter is lots of layers. I wore this turtleneck under the overalls, along with this cardigan to keep it cute and casual. To add some more winter cuteness to the outfit I wore my trusty Free People pom hat , I seriously can’t stop wearing it!!

How do you like to layer for winter? Let me know in the comments! Thanks for stopping by!

One of my favorite trends this winter has been everything and anything Sherpa! I seriously can’t get enough of it. I love this denim jacket by Levi’s thats lined with Sherpa, making it more winter weather appropriate.

The day that we shot this look it was FREEZING so we ducked into one of my favorite coffee shops, Rook, to warm up! We’ve been having a seriously cold winter here in New Jersey!

Now on to these boots: best. boots. ever. The block heel makes them super comfortable AND they’re 50% off!! You really can’t beat that deal! I also really love the details through out the boots.

Teddy Coat

Coat: Free People // Sweater: Rag and Bone // Jeans: Madewell // Hat: Nordstrom // Booties: (similar) 1 state

Hello friends!! I hope you all enjoyed your holiday festivities! I wanted to share this look with you guys and talk about the Teddy Coat trend. I’m gonna be honest with you, at first I didn’t know how I felt about the trend. Did I love it? Hate it? This was one of those trends where I just did not know how I felt about it for a while! However, after I found this peacoat version of it from Free People I was instantly hooked!! I think the buttons on it are so adorable and I’m not kidding when I say it’s SUPER warm(as in if I wear it inside for too long I start sweating). So in conclusion, consider me a teddy coat gal now.

How do you guys feel about this trend? Love it or leave it? Let me know in the comments, thanks for reading! Xx Bridget

Snow Essentials

Sweater: Free People // Leggings: Spanx // Boots: Sorel (on sale!) // Glasses: Urban Outfitters // Lip Stain: Tarte Cosmetics // Ring: David Yurman

Hello friends! I can’t believe it’s not even Christmas yet and we’ve already had a few snow storms here in New Jersey! That being said, I had to pull out my snow gear a little sooner than I had expected. I bought these Sorel boots back in March for a trip to Boston and they have not let me down since!! These are seriously so great for the snow since they keep my feet both warm and dry. They are a bit of an investment but if you live in an area where it snows a few times a year they’re totally worth it. My sweater is from Free People and I now own it in two colors! I’m a just a little obsessed. It’s so warm and cozy and easy to just throw on with a pair of leggings or jeans.

What are some of your favorite snow gear pieces or brands? Let me know in the comments, thanks for stopping by! Xx Bridget

Cognac Suede Dress

Dress: Free People // Shirt: Nordstrom // Boots: Steve Madden (similar, on sale!!) // Bracelets: David Yurman, 1 2 3 4

Remember that suede dress that I wore to NYFW back in the fall? Well, it’s back again and this time I’ve styled it for the winter months! This dress really can be worn all year round considering how easy it is to layer and wear with different types of shoes. I went with my usual extra small that I wear in Free People. Free People does run a bit loose, so take that into consideration also when buying. My top is from Nordstrom and also runs a little big, I’m wearing an extra small for reference. My shoes are from a few years ago but I’ve linked a similar pair that’s on sale!! They run true to size. This dress comes in 8 different colors and I have my eye on the navy color!

Thanks for stopping by! Xx Bridget

Plaid Skirt

Top: Nordstrom // Skirt(similar): J.Crew // Pumps: Christian Louboutin // Watch: Michele // Ring: David Yurman // Bracelets: David Yurman, 123

Happy weekend my people!! It snowed today here in New Jersey so I thought today was perfect to share this very Christmas-y plaid skirt! I had my eye on this skirt from J.Crew for a while now and it eventually sold out online and I was super bummed. Last week I was in my local J.Crew and found the skirt in my size AND on sale! It was a no brainer that I had to get it! I’ve gotten so many comments on it being very “Blair Waldorf” and that is a HUGE compliment to me! She’s kind of my idol.

What are you guys wearing on Christmas Day? Let me know in the comments, thanks for reading! Xx Bridget
